LE SPECS 40TH ANNIVERSARY:
TAKE A LOOK AT OUR GAS STATION TAKEOVER IN DOWNTOWN L.A.
THIS IS 40
Yep, you read that right. Le Specs has been wowing fans with fashion forward and wearable sunglasses since 1979.
The Le Family has been busy - have you seen our latest and greatest throughout the years?
We've continued to collaborate with some of the most influential designers and artisans such as Adam Selman, Jordan Askill, Craig and Karl, Henry Holland, Anthony Lister, Double Rainbouu and Self Portrait to bring you the must-have frames each season.
We've launched Le Specs Luxe, Le Specs Handmade and most recently the big game changer - Le Specs Optical while still remaining true to price point and innovative designs.
At 40 years old, Le Specs is more than celebrity-approved and available in over 70 countries worldwide, which explains why Kaia Gerber, Kendall Jenner, the Hadids, Beyoncé, Rihanna, Lady Gaga and the rest of the It-crowd are some of our biggest fans.
To celebrate our success and your support of Le Specs, we headed to downtown L.A. for our 40th anniversary party on Friday 3rd May. It's here that we transformed a former Chinatown gas station into a Le Shopping wonderland - full of photo ops and selfies with a vintage Ferrari of course!
Party people included some of the best in the fashion and Instagram industry as well as our very own collaborator, Adam Selman. Actresses Alanna Masterson, Cameron Richardson and Georgie Flores were also in attendance.
We kept the crowds energy up, up, up with fancy cocktails, In-N-Out burgers, music and dancing from DJ HONEY and DJ VASHTIE, all while waiting for their custom-embroided tees, caps and sunglasses to be completed in the Le Shop!
Ohh the Le Shop! Did you catch a glimpse?
Here you could find "Le Specs H2O," "Le Crunchy Pops," "Le Carbs", "Le Mayo" and "Le Peanut Butter," - fill up your shopping carts party people!
Speaking to Danielle Directo-Meston from The Hollywood Reporter, our Creative Director Hamish Tame explained that "L.A. felt like the right place for us because of what we do. There’s a good synergy between you guys and [Australia]; we’ve got similar weather and we’re by the coast,".
